County of Santa Cruz

  • 7. Consideration of the 2024 Growth Goal ReportConsideration of the 2024 Growth Goal Report (CONTINUED from September 27th). Project does not require a Coastal Development Permit but requires a determination that the project is exempt from further review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

Public hearing to consider resolution recommending adoption of the proposed 2023 Housing Element to the Board of Supervisors, amendment of the County General Plan, and consideration of findings for a CEQA Addendum to the Environmental Impact Report prepared for the Sustainability Policy and Regulatory Update.

  • 6. Impact Report on Effect of Housing for People Ballot Initiative – Motion to direct the preparation of an impact report on the effect of the proposed Housing for People initiative which would amend the City’s Municipal Code to: (1) prohibit the City Council from amending the City’s General Plan or Zoning Ordinance in a way that increases allowable height limits or floor area ratios without a prior vote of the people; and (2) increases the City’s inclusionary housing requirements to at least 25% for developments with 30 or more units.
  • 11. Resolution Amending the City of Santa Cruz Personnel Complement and Classification and Compensation Plan for the City Manager’s Office, Information Technology, Parks and Recreation, Public Works, and Economic Development and Housing – Budget Adjustment
