Impact Report on Effect of Housing for People Ballot Initiative – Motion to direct the preparation of an impact report on the effect of the proposed Housing for People initiative which would amend the City’s Municipal Code to: (1) prohibit the City Council from amending the City’s General Plan or Zoning Ordinance in a way that increases allowable height limits or floor area ratios without a prior vote of the people; and (2) increases the City’s inclusionary housing requirements to at least 25% for developments with 30 or more units.
