- 13. Adopt “Uncodified Ordinance to Adopt Amended Military Equipment Use Policy Pursuant to AB 481” (Approved in concept May 9, 2023)
- 23. Direct the Chair to send a letter to our regional delegation in support of the F-AIR Act and its provisions calling for the FAA to consider “the minimization of the impact of aviation noise, and other health impacts on residents and communities, and other impacts of the use of airspace on the environment”, and direct the Chair to send letters to the Chairman of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure’s Aviation Subcommittee, Congressman Panetta, and the San Francisco International Airport/Community Roundtable (SFORT) supporting the inclusion of the F-AIR Act and provisions directing the FAA to develop a noise metric that properly reflects the burden of aviation noise on impacted communities, within the Federal Administration Reauthorization Act of 2023, as recommended by Supervisor Koenig.

Adopt resolution to accept real property (APNs 043-13-134, 054-62-104, 043-16-144, 043-16-164, and 043-16-165) adjacent to Hidden Beach County Park from the California State Coastal Conservancy and ratify the Parcel Transfer Agreement, as recommended by the Director of Parks, Open Space and Cultural Services.

Consider presentation on tobacco product waste by the Health Services Agency; adopt resolution recognizing tobacco product waste as a public health and environmental threat, creating a tobacco waste ad hoc committee, and directing the Chair to take related actions; and direct the Health Services Agency to return on or before June 27, 2023, with recommendations on establishing the ad hoc committee to address tobacco waste, as outlined in the memorandum of the Director of Health Services.

Environmental Review: Categorical Exemption (Class 15305-c, 15332) This project requires a Coastal Permit which is appealable to the California Coastal Commission (CCC). An appeal may be filed to the CCC after all possible local appeals are exhausted through the City. For Coastal Permits processed concurrently with other planning entitlements, an appeal of the Coastal Permit only may be filed directly to the CCC at any time during the appeal period.
