County of Santa Cruz

The County Historic Resources Commission meeting scheduled for Monday, April 3 is CANCELLED.


The County Workforce Development Board will meet Wednesday, April 5 at 8:30 am at the Seacliff Inn, 7500 Old Dominion Court in Aptos. Click HERE for the agenda.

5th District Supervisor Bruce McPherson and Congressman Jimmy Panetta will hold a joint San Lorenzo Valley Town Hall Wednesday, April 5 at 6:30 pm at Highlands Park Senior & Community Center, 8500 Highway 9 in Ben Lomond.


The County Sanitation District Board of Directors will meet Thursday, April 6 at 4:45 pm at the D.A. Porath Sanitation Facility, 2750 Lode Street in Santa Cruz. Click HERE for the agenda.

  • 4525 Opal Cliff Drive, Santa Cruz – Proposal to operate a new four-bedroom residential vacation rental. Requires a vacation rental permit and a determination that the project is exempt from further review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). City of Santa Cruz

The SC City Water Commission meeting scheduled for Monday, April 3 is CANCELLED.


The SC City Health in All Policies Committee will meet Tuesday, April 4 at 2:30 pm at City Council Chambers, 809 Center Street in Santa Cruz, Click HERE for the agenda.


The City of Santa Cruz will present it’s Housing Element Workshop #2 Tuesday, April 4 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm by remote teleconference. Click HERE for information and instructions for public participation.

City of Capitola

  • 5.A. Scotts Valley Water District Sphere Annexation – An annexation and concurrent sphere amendment is being proposed by the Scotts Valley Water District (“SVWD” or “District”). The proposal area encompasses 184 parcels, approximately 1,500 acres, and almost 300 registered voters. The purpose of the proposal is to allow the opportunity for connecting with the District’s water system, when desired by the affected landowners and without the need for future LAFCO action.

Consent Agenda

  • 10. Contract Amendment for Janitorial Services on the Santa Cruz Branch Rail Line – The RTC acquired the Santa Cruz Branch Rail Line (SCBRL) in 2012 for the purpose of providing transportation alternatives in Santa Cruz County. Ownership of the corridor involves ongoing basic maintenance including clean-up of dumping, other trash, and encampments.
  • 11. Construction Contract Award for Handrail and WalkwayRepairs on Bridges along the Santa Cruz Branch Rail Line – The scope of work includes replacement of approximately 67 linear feet of handrail, 1,178 linear feet of walkway, and 4 handrail posts. The scope of work includes installation of “no trespassing” signs on bridges. Completing this work will ensure that the Santa Cruz Branch Rail line bridges remain accessible for maintenance activities and are compliant with Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) requirements. Additionally, the work includes installing “No Trespassing” signs along the branch line Corridor.

The Monterey Bay Air Resources District Advisory Committee is scheduled to meet Thursday, April 6 at 1:30 pm. The agenda and instructions for public participation will be available HERE 72 hours before the meeting.
